Employer and Freelancer Policy – Allround The Agency Jobboard

Version: 1.0
Effective date: 20 August 2026

Scope: This policy applies to all employers/clients and freelancers who use Allround The Agency’s Job Board within the online environment.

This policy sets out, in a clear and user-friendly manner, what we expect from employers/clients and freelancers on our Job Board. In this way, we ensure the platform remains safe, fair and professional for everyone.

1. General Principles

1.1 Allround The Agency’s Jobboard is intended as a professional platform where supply and demand meet: employers/clients with vacancies and assignments, and freelancers with their knowledge and experience.

1.2 We want the Jobboard to:

  • be transparent about roles, assignments and expectations;
  • be fair in the way opportunities are offered;
  • be safe for all participants.

1.3 This policy supplements the Jobboard Terms and Conditions. Where necessary, the text of the Jobboard Terms and Conditions takes precedence.

2. For employers and clients

2.1 Accurate and complete job vacancy information

As an employer/client:

  • ensure that your job vacancies and assignments are accurate, complete and up to date;
  • clearly describe what the role/assignment entails, the associated tasks and responsibilities, and your requirements;
  • provide realistic information about remuneration, hours, location (online/in-person) and contract type.

We ask you to avoid misleading or ‘clickbait’-style titles. Participants must be able to rely on the content of your vacancy.

2.2 No discriminatory or unlawful content

Your job vacancies and assignments:

  • must not contain any discriminatory requirements or language (for example, on the grounds of age, gender, ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation or health), unless this is exceptional and legally justified;
  • must not contain any hateful, offensive or hurtful text;
  • must not incite illegal activities.
  • We reserve the right to remove discriminatory or otherwise unlawful job vacancies immediately and – in the event of a repeat offence – to restrict or terminate your access to the Jobboard.

2.3 Compliance with employment and contract law

You are personally responsible for:

  • compliance with employment law (such as rules relating to employment contracts, working hours, pay and working conditions);
  • compliance with tax and social security regulations;
  • the correct application of self-employed/freelance arrangements.

The job board does not provide legal advice and does not act as an employer or client. The arrangements you make with freelancers/candidates are your own responsibility.

2.4 Professional communication

In your communication with freelancers:

  • respond to applications and enquiries within a reasonable timeframe;
  • communicate clearly, respectfully and professionally;
  • where possible, provide feedback if you decide not to select someone (for example, a brief rejection email).

Unfriendly, intimidating or derogatory communication is not permitted.

3. For freelancers

3.1 Honest profiles and CVs

As a freelancer: The aim is for employers/clients to gain a realistic impression based on your profile.

  • create a profile that honestly and clearly reflects who you are, what you can do and what you are looking for;
  • only list qualifications, certificates and experience that you actually have;
  • handle references and previous clients/employers with integrity.

3.2 Responding in a targeted and respectful manner

When responding to job vacancies and assignments:

  • Respond in a targeted manner and only to positions that are relevant to your profile;
  • avoid mass, standardised responses that do not relate to the content;
  • approach employers/clients in a professional and respectful manner.

“Spamming” responses or sending inappropriate messages may result in your access to the Jobboard being restricted.

3.3 Personal responsibility when accepting assignments

You are personally responsible for:

  • assessing the terms offered to you by the employer/client;
  • reading and understanding contracts before signing them;
  • seeking advice if in doubt (for example, from a lawyer or financial adviser).

The Jobboard is a platform for connecting with one another; it is not the party that endorses your agreements or verifies their content.

4. Common rules for all participants

4.1 Professional conduct on the Jobboard

The following applies to both employers/clients and freelancers/candidates:

  • you must use the Jobboard in a professional manner;
  • you must avoid verbal abuse, aggression, intimidation or gossip;
  • you must not post content that deliberately damages the reputations of others.

If differences of opinion arise, you should first try to resolve them amicably between yourselves. If this is not possible and there has been a serious breach, you can report it via our reporting procedure.

4.2 No abuse or unauthorised use

The following are not permitted:

  • using the Jobboard for illegal activities (such as fraud or scams);
  • automatically ‘scraping’ or downloading large amounts of data;
  • circumventing security measures or technically sabotaging the platform.

Abuse may result in immediate suspension and, where necessary, further action.

4.3 Respect for third-party rights

All participants must:

  • respect copyright, trade mark rights and other intellectual property rights;
  • not share confidential or privacy-sensitive information belonging to third parties without consent;
  • not post images or audio material of individuals without their consent, unless this falls within normal recruitment practice (for example, company photographs taken with consent).

5. Consequences of non-compliance

  • respect copyright, trade marks and other intellectual property rights;
  • do not share confidential or privacy-sensitive information belonging to third parties without permission;
  • do not post images or audio material of individuals without their consent, unless this falls within normal recruitment practice (e.g. company photographs with consent).

5.1 In the event of a minor breach (for example, an unclear job vacancy or a profile that needs refining), we will generally first politely remind you of the rules and ask you to amend the content.

5.2 In the event of repeated or more serious breaches (such as discrimination, misleading behaviour or aggressive communication), we may:

  • hide or remove content (temporarily or permanently);
  • issue you with an official warning;
  • restrict or terminate your access to the Jobboard (temporarily or permanently).

5.3 In very serious cases (for example, obvious fraud or criminal statements), we may, in addition to the measures above, decide to consider further steps, including informing the relevant authorities.

6. Relationship with other documents

6.1 This Employer and Freelancer Policy forms part of the overall framework for the use of the Jobboard, alongside:

  • the Jobboard Terms and Conditions;
  • the Reporting Procedure;
  • the Moderation Protocol;
  • the Ranking Policy;
  • the Privacy Statement.

6.2 By using the Jobboard, you agree to this policy and to the other documents applicable to the platform.
